Returns & FAQ

RETURN POLICY: 

We understand that sometimes ordering online is hard and things just don't fit as you had hoped. If this happens, no worries! We have a 30-day return policy for a refund to original payment method, exchange, or store credit. 

PLEASE NOTE: Returns MUST BE Postmarked by 30-days from date of original order. Anything after the 30-days will be returned back to you at your cost and is no longer eligible for return.

 

RETURNS:

Returns are simple around here and can be done from the comfort of your home. (No need to go to the post office unless you like it there.)

Simply sign in to your account (If you do not have an account, you can create one HERE). Select from your most recent orders, click on the order, click on the item(s) you want to return, and select them for return.  We will get back to you within 24-48 hours with a return label that is emailed over to you and can simply be placed in a return bag (This must be a poly-type plastic mailer and put the return in the mailbox. (NO PRIORITY MAIL PACKAGING OR BOXES).

YOU MUST INDICATE IF YOU DESIRE A REFUND TO ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD ON YOUR INVOICE THAT IS RETURNED WITH YOUR RETURN ORDER. ALL UNMARKED INVOICES WILL BE GIVEN A STORE CREDIT FOR THE RETURN.

There is no restocking fee, but there is a $3 postage fee (per item) for store credits or a $6 postage fee (per item) for refunds when using our return label. This charge will be deducted from your return. This is simply to help cover the expense of our sending you the item (since all orders from us ship at a reduced or free rate, as well as to help cover the cost of the return label.) Shipping is expensive and as a small business, we are doing our best to keep our costs down for everyone.

PLEASE NOTE: Unauthorized items/extra items in a return bag that is sent back to us without prior authorization using our return label causes our cost for the label to substantially increase and takes unnecessary admin work on our end. For this reason, there will be an additional $10 charge (per item) for each unauthorized item added to a return. 

ON YOUR OWN:

If you have many items to return, you can also choose to send them back on your own. You can choose to mail a return back to us at your own full cost (not using our return labels). Returns must be received within 30-days of purchase as described below. Please include invoice with your return, along with a note explaining if you would like a store credit or a refund. Store credits will be sent to the email on file once we receive the return. We do not charge a restocking fee.

ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURN: 

For a returned item to be eligible for return it must be returned in brand new condition.  It must be unworn, free of deodorant stains, make up stains, free of odors and smells (perfume, cigarette smoke, pet odors, cooking odors, moth balls) and free of pet hairs. If an item is returned to us in a condition not meeting these standards, we have the right to reject the return.

Items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from the date of purchase. Items must be in original condition with tags (when applicable). DISCOUNTED/ SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE.

EXCHANGES:

Items may be exchanged for another size in the same item. With exchanges, you will pay the cost of return shipping to get the item back to us, but we will send the exchange at no additional charge. Please email us at TheKingsDaughterBoutique@gmail.com or send us a message through here. (The sooner you contact us, the better your chances of the item being in stock.)

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE: 

If your item is damaged /defective when received, we will gladly provide a full refund or store credit upon return of item and a return shipping label when indicated. Damage must be reported within 3 days of delivery of the order. The item must be unworn.  Please send pictures of the damage to TheKingsDaughterBoutique@gmail.com.

Please note, returns may take 2-3 business days to process from date of arrival to us. 

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Items purchased outside of the United States or military addresses are not eligible for returns due to customs issues. 

RETURNED TO SENDER:

If an order is returned to us because the shipping address is entered incorrectly, we will have to charge a reshipment fee equal to the price of the extra label needed. We can only ship items FREE of charge one time. We do not change shipping addresses that are selected by the customer at the time of checkout. If an order is sent to the wrong address, it is because that is the address that was entered at checkout by the customer.

 

  • FAQ: How much does it cost to do a return through my account?

  • A: We will send you a return label that you can use without going to the post office. Instead of paying $8-$16 at the post office, you can use our reduced rate labels. For this, we will deduct $3 from each return when you choose store credit and $6 from each return when you choose a refund. 

 

    • FAQ: Can I return numerous items in the same package when I use the return portal?

    • A: You can send numerous items back on your own, but not  using our labels through the return portal. Each return needs to be authorized in our system or we cannot process the return. Each item must be shipped separately in different packages unless they came from the same order, in which case you can get return authorization for all items at the same time within your account. 

    • Unauthorized items/extra items in a return bag that is sent back to us causes our cost for the label to substantially increase and takes unnecessary admin work on our end. For this reason, there will be an additional $10 charge (per item) for each unauthorized item added to a return.
